The Art of Life Community Health Centre presents the 8-Session Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction Course for Youth in a virtual format.
The focus of this series of mindfulness lessons is to help youth impacted by social isolation, depression, anxiety, fear, and loneliness to learn the tools of mindfulness meditation to improve their resilience in the face of new challenges brought on by the COVID pandemic.
This is a Canadian Red Cross sponsored project to support youth during these unprecedented times of increased uncertainty, as well as an opportunity for self-discovery, healing and development of inner strength which will be an asset under any life circumstances.
(Note: this offering is only open to youth ages 14 to 27, if you’re a parent or a professional, and would like to learn mindfulness, please register here)
