MINDFULNESS PROGRAM FOR TEENS (14 to 18)

Are you a teen who is feeling stressed, overwhelmed or down?

 The gentle art of noticing your thoughts and feelings without judging yourself or others is one way to describe Mindfulness.

Practicing mindfulness meditation is a simple and accessible way to disconnect from unhelpful patterns, allowing you to embrace the present moment and the possibility of dealing with anxiety, sadness and stress more productively.

Join Naomi Levine, MSW, RSW for an 8-week Mindfulness-based Stress Reduction group, where teens will learn mindfulness meditation in a safe and supportive group setting.

Course Instructor

Naomi Levine is a Toronto-based therapist who works with individuals, couples, and groups. She has worked in youth corrections, a not-for-profit trauma program for children, youth and families, and, currently, practices trauma-focused psychodynamic psychotherapy with adults at a not-for-profit organization, as well as in private practice. She also supervises master’s level students who are completing their clinical internships. Naomi completed her Master’s degree in Social Work at the University of Toronto in 2008. She has been teaching and practicing Mindfulness for the last 10 years.
