School of Healthy Living program helps support vulnerable families during the COVID-19 pandemic with information and resources on family resilience and healthy child development.
This program focuses on the negative impacts of a pandemic on family health, including increased family violence, child abuse, high-stress level in children, compromised ability of parents to manage a child’s behavior, stress levels, and anxiety. Our goal is to support families in recognizing and reducing the sources of stress associated with COVID-19 reality and social isolation, strengthening core life skills, decreasing anxiety, building strong relationships, and increasing connection within the family unit.
