THE ART OF MINDFUL LIVING

Stress is inevitable, but, suffering is optional!

If you’d like to see this statement in action in your life, join us every Wednesday at 6:30PM at our Centre for 1.5hour meditation classes, for 8 weeks. With regular practice, you’ll see how resilient you can become to the stress in your life!

This 8-week course guided by an experienced Mindfulness Instructor Lou Carcasole – P. Eng., MBA, M. Ed. will help you to:

  • reduce your reaction to stress, alleviating anxiety and depression
  • enhance your memory and concentration skills, patience and personal performance
  • cultivate the skills of empathy and impulse control
  • sharpen your awareness, gradually improving every aspect of your life

Here is just one testimonial from a recent participant:

I am shocked at how much of a big difference in my before and after scores are as I look at them. Shocked in a good way! To be honest I was a bit skeptical about mediation at the very start of the course even questioning if I wanted to continue. I’m glad I gave it a chance. I feel really great after putting it to practice meditating each time. It has been a great positive factor in my life. It really does help people relax and improves a lot of problematic aspects one may face. It has also helped me deal and cope with my mental health. Meditation will be a practice I will continue to incorporate in my life once the program is over. I hope to teach my aunts how to meditate one day as one wants to learn how and the other is always under stress.

Our first class will take place on Wednesday, September 1 at 6:30PM.
